RESEARCH CENTRE- DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICS

                    The Research Centre in Physics was started in November 1999 and functions as one of the Regional Research Centers of the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. Active research is going on in the field of thin film applications, magnetic materials, gas sensors, solar energy materials and optics. The centre has a good number of research publications of international repute to their credit. Presently one scholar is pursuing her work for the doctoral degree. The centre has produced four   Ph. D s so far.
