Economically Backward Student Scholarship (EBSS) and Meritorious Students Scholarship (MSS) under RUSA scheme 2019-20

Heads of departments are requested to select 4 PG students (EBSS-2+ MSS-2) and 6 UG students (EBSS-3+ MSS-3) for the above scholarships based on the following criteria:

Selection Criteria:

1. Meritorious Students Scholarship

• Students who have secured highest marks in the last qualifying examination with no backlogs in previous semesters (plus two marks for 1stsemester  UG, 2nd  Semester marks for 3rd semester UG, 4th Semester marks for 5th semester UG,  Degree Marks for 1st semester PG, 2nd Semester marks for 3rd  semester PG).

2. Economically backward student Scholarship

• Student should have secured a minimum 80% marks in the last qualifying examination with no backlogs in previous semesters (plus two marks for 1st semester  UG, 2nd  Semester marks for 3rd semester UG, 4th Semester marks for 5th semester UG, Degree Marks for 1stsemester PG, 2nd Semester marks for 3rd  semester PG).
•  Family annual income should be below 3 lakhs.
